Cultured Marble

Montana Marble is a unique gift for that special person or a lovely addition to your own collection of fine artwork. Through a special process, the most detailed and realistic artwork is etched into individually unique pieces of the finest cultured marble. This unique process captures all the visual expression intended by these distinguished artists in their original artwork. From the original pen and ink drawing a master etching is made. Then molds are made from this master etching. A cultured marble slurry is then artfully poured into the molds. After allowing the cultured marble to cure, the entire piece is painted with a permanent ink and then wiped with a solvent towel. The ink is removed from all of the surface except the tiny etchings, bringing the artwork back to life once again. This special process gives the artwork an added depth while maintaining all of the original detail.
