Kenneth "Chip" Houseman Photography

Born and raised in Great Falls, MT, Chip spent much of his
early years becoming an avid outdoorsman.  After studying
wildlife biology at the University of Montana in Missoula, he
began a film career that eventually took him to the seven
continents, from tropical jungles to the highest mountains. 
Houseman's subjects included grizzly bears in Russia snow
monkeys in Japan, polar bears in the Arctic, wolves and musk
ox in Alaska, tigers and wild dogs in India, bison and sage
grouse in Montana.

Through his contacts with National Geographic, BBC Wildlife,
PBS, ABC/Kane, Discovery Communications, Nature/WNET,
Nova and Reader's Digest, he conributed to nearly 50 natural
history documentary films, winning a number of awards.  With
Hugh Miles, Chip won the British Academy of Film and
Television Arts Award in best factual photography for BBc's
"Wildlife Special: Tigers of Kanha."
